Straw Races

Mark a line and then give children different objects to blow. This will show them about different weights of objects and the force needed to move them as well as working on gross motor skills of blowing.

 

NB: Sun class mainly can’t blow so this wouldn’t be applicable.

Sorting activity

Find a collection of objects around the house and get children to sort them between two or three different categories. The categories could be something like colours, large or small, wet or dry etc.
